American government “with liberty and justice for all” requires
meaningful checks and balances that are safeguarded by public
servants having sterling integrity and a sincere commitment to
the principle of government under law.
The citizens’ grand jury is a key element in a system of
meaningful checks and balances. The sovereign people must have a
structure by which public servants may be held accountable for
wrongdoing.
History demonstrates that, at local, state and national levels,
powers delegated to elected and appointed officials are too
often abused by unscrupulous individuals and by conspiracies of
such persons acting in concert. History demonstrates that
judges, being human, are too often bribed, intimidated or
otherwise made to prostitute truth, justice and American ideals
including those embodied in the United States Constitution.
In Nevada, our community of judges ~ including those having
federal benches ~ appears to be a “good ol’ boy network” that
protects criminals having political juice.
In Washoe County, a grand jury has been sought by citizens to
investigate public corruption at the University of Nevada, Reno
(UNR). The citizens produced extensive evidence of public
corruption, widespread political connections of UNR officials
and cover-ups using unlimited taxpayer dollars. They requested
that such a grand jury be led by a prosecutor from outside the
state, to avoid in-state political bias.
Although lacking legal standing to do so, UNR attorneys and
private attorneys deputized by the Nevada Attorney General
Office and paid by public funds tried numerous times to block or
interfere with the grand jury petition.
Eventually, Judge Connie Steinheimer ruled that a grand jury
would be impaneled. However, she disregarded many key
allegations supported by credible evidence, and placed the grand
jury in the hands of Washoe County District Attorney Richard
Gammick, a notorious member of the Nevada “good ol’ boy network”
who has clear conflicts of interest with UNR officials.
This judge and many other persons in high levels of Nevada State
Government, including the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, may
be fairly perceived as knowingly protecting alleged racketeers
and animal abusers at UNR.
These persons accused of such criminal acts include UNR
President Milton Glick, UNR Police Chief Adam Garcia, UNR
General Counsel Mary Dugan, and UNR Athletic Director Cary Groth,
etc.
The public servants who have been actively undermining and
trying to prevent a grand jury investigation are aware of facts
which expose felony crimes and outrageous abuse of
whistleblowers at UNR. They know that a credible grand jury
would in all likelihood indict all individuals named above ~ and
other UNR and state employees who are guilty of rigging bids,
such rigging costing millions of wasted tax dollars in
overpayments for kick-backs, etc.
You, as a representative of Nevada taxpayers, are asked to pick
up your phone and call each member of the Nevada Supreme Court
to state your concern with the denial of justice under law to
the citizens requesting a grand jury to investigate and expose
serious and numerous crimes at UNR.
Please also call your fellow members of the Legislature,
Governor Jim Gibbons, Secretary of State Ross Miller, and
Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto. You may also want to
call Milton Glick, Connie Steinheimer, and Dick Gammick.
Everyone knows
there is a culture of corruption within Nevada Government. Are
you an active or passive member of this culture? Or do you
intend to take effective steps to defend honesty and justice in
Nevada? Are you a part of the problem or a part of the solution?

Please note that I have been
wrongfully arrested three times for exercising my right to
criticize corruption in Nevada government, while so-called
public servants in Nevada still are free to violate their oath
